Apple has started selling iTunes gift cards with an iBooks branding on them in their retail stores. They’re just like standard iTunes gift cards that can be used for purchasing items from the iTunes store, App Store, or the iBooks bookstore.
Choosing to showcase iBooks on the new gift cards seems a smart move to up the awareness of the iBooks store around the holidays – especially to people buying iPads during the holiday season at least in part for its eBook reading skills.
