
Sometime over the weekend, Apple flipped the switch on Ping for the iPad. That is to say, Apple’s new Ping social media network is now accessible through the iPad’s iTunes application. Needless to say, this functionality has been available on the iPhone/iPod touch and iTunes 10 since Apple introduced in in September.
Identical to the other versions, the iPad version has three tabs. One for “Activity”, another for “People”, and yet another for “My Profile.”
Coincidentally, the arrival of Ping on the iPad comes just days after Twitter announced an agreement with Apple to offer Ping integration with their service.
