Icebird 1.3.1 for iPhone: Twitter, Faster

Yeesh. Icebird ($3.99) developer @fabiankr wasn’t kidding when he talked about “huge performance improvements” in the latest update to his excellent Twitter client: Icebird is blazing fast now.

I’ve always liked Icebird’s cool (for lack of a better word) design, but I left it for Twitterriffic a few months ago because of Twitterriffic’s excellent tap-based setup. However, the speed in Icebird is now a feature in and of itself, and it’s plain refreshing to see an app react so quickly on my 3GS. It almost feels like I own an iPhone 4 😉

If you’re an Icebird owner who strayed from the nest, do give this version a shot. If you don’t own the app yet, here’s a review of 1.0 to give you a feel of what it’s about.
