Flux Capacitor is a new app for the iPhone (and iPad) that appears to have just a single purpose, but a rather handy one to have in your hands: time travel.

The Flux Capacitor is what made time travel possible in Back to the Future, one of the most brilliantly inventive, wildly entertaining motion picture triumphs in Hollywood history! Now it’s your turn to launch into the past, fine tune the future, and disrupt the space-time continuum!

Even though there are a whole lot of great utility apps in the App Store, this one may be hard to beat for its versatility and power. You could use it to travel back in time to the lead-up to the iPhone 4 launch, and wisely choose not to hold out for the White iPhone 4 or bust, or jump back to a moment where you could hold off on that MacBook Pro purchase that ends up being four weeks before a major refresh for them, or even to moments where you could un-do a really stupid (non Apple tech related) mistake you made in life. I know I’ve made tons of those just in the last few weeks. Smile
