iOS 4.2 has been released and is available now in iTunes. As promised, Apple has delivered this update before November runs out.

This update brings over 100 new features to the iPad – including multitasking, folders, universal Inobox, and lots more. iPhone users have already had the vast majority of those features for months now – but should be glad to see the new AirPrint and AirPlay.
