Hot on the heels of the latest apple update the iphone dev team chimes in to share the latest on the jailbreak front. Long story short, if you own a newer iPhone 3Gs or later, you should probably hold off unless you feel a tethered jailbreak (aka-being close to your computer in the event of a reboot) won’t ruin your day. This holds especially true to those relying on ultrasn0w for their unlock. Apparently older 3Gs models and the previous are still jailbreakable using older jailbreak tools, such as limera1n. For complete details as always, check out the iphone dev team blog.
