Apple Updates MobileMe.com Login, iWork for iPad, and Find My iPhone Application

In addition to yesterday’s release of iOS 4.2, Apple updated a number of other things to accommodate the new software. First off, Apple introduced a new login page for their MobileMe service. The new login asks users for their Apple IDs to log in, not their MobileMe address and password. That said, before you can log in, you must activate “Find My iPhone” on your iOS device.

Apple also updated their iWork apps for the iPad to take full advantage of the features in iOS 4.2. Features such as multitasking and AirPrint. The apps themselves also have new features. Numbers for instance now offers print previews, formula entry from the on-screen keyboard, and Auto fit.

Lastly, Apple updated the “Find My iPhone” application. The update adds support for iOS 4.2 and the new free “Find My iPhone” service.

What’s New in Version 1.1

– iPhone 4, iPad, or 4th generation iPod touch owners can use Find My iPhone for free with their Apple ID (iOS 4.2 required)
– Support for 30 additional languages
– Important: this update is required for users of the previous version of Find My iPhone app (v1.0 and v1.0.1)

I love days like yesterday. All sorts of free goodies from Apple.
