Call of Duty: Zombies for iPhone — now includes four maps for $4.99

Yikes. I’m not entirely sure when this happened (the Appera states Oct 1 – so this isn’t news), but you can purchase all four Call of Duty: Zombies maps for a mere $4.99. That’s $1.25 per map, or $0.0000000005 per zombie killed. Regardless of what the actual numbers break down to, this is a seriously amazing deal, and it’s actually FREE for those who own the original Call of Duty: World at War Zombies game (originally $9.99 with one map, reviewed here). Each of the DLC maps was originally priced at $5 a pop, so this is basically a $25 package for 1/5 of its original price.

The review I linked to above should give you a whiff of what to expect in terms of gameplay, but let me state this again: COD Zombies is still far and away the best FPS I’ve played on the iPhone. Turn the tilt controls on, turn out the lights, grab a friend via wi-fi or Bluetooth, and commence  the shooting of many-a-zombie in the noggin (Noggin shot!).
