Looking for a sexy task manager that can sync over-the-air with a Windows and Mac client? Then you might find the free Wunderlist iPhone app wunderbar (that was a bad joke — I’ll apologize later).
I haven’t had much time to form impressions of the app, but the two key words here seem to be sexy and simple. You create tasks by navigating to a list and then simply typing into a box at the top of the screen. If you want to assign extra details like priority or a due date, you tap on the task afterwards to edit it.
It took a little while for me to find out how to sync the app, but it’s actually in the Lists tab (button the top-right, or pull-down-to-sync).
I really haven’t had much time today to play around with a new task manager, but I will say that the whole experience does show some promise. I think the Mac and iPhone versions of Wunderlist could definitely use some work (more on this in an actual review, soon), but the fact that all the clients are free and feature free over-the-air sync right out of the box, is pretty amazing. I’ll be giving Wunderlist a go over the next few days, so stay tuned.
In the meantime, you can pick up the iPhone version here, and the desktop clients here.
