Minigore Episode 4 for iPhone: local co-op over WLAN!

I thought this day would never come, but it has.

Minigore ($0.99), my favourite dual stick shooter on the iPhone, finally supports two player co-op over WLAN, and it’s a hell of a lot of fun. It’s butter smooth over my local network, and it’s such a huge change having someone to actually cover your back while you get swarmed from every direction. The devs at Mountain Sheep definitely took their sweet time getting this episode released (and there’s still no update for the iPad app), but it plays beautifully on my iPhone 3GS.

So there’s one Christmas present right there. Now all we need is Things OTA sync before the New Year and we can call it a Christmas App Store Miracle. 🙂
