Camera+ 2 for iPhone has ris-ris-risen from the ashes

Like some sort of photographical Phoenix, Camera+ from developer tap tap tap is back (back back) on the App Store. The app has been absent for months now (possibly because of its hidden feature, VolumeSnap) and, if I’m to be honest, basically presumed dead.

However, Camera+ has returned, and it’s actually looking better than ever. tap tap tap has given the whole interface an overhaul, increased the speed, and has added a host of new filters and features (burst mode, rotate, and many more).

I remember really loving Camera+ when it first came out, but I eventually took it off of my first home screen because it took too long before I could get to taking pictures. However, seeing as this version is 1) brand spanking new and 2) devoid of that cutesy-but-slow DSLR screen, I’m going to give this app another shot. I should have an updated mini review in a few days.

In the meantime, you can check out all of the changes on the tap tap tap blog. Oh, and the app is also on sale for $0.99 (normally $1.99).
