The iPhone 4 grabbed the top spot in eBay’s list of Top Shopped Report for 2010 – which is said to reveal ‘the top pop culture moments and fashion trends that captivated shoppers’ curiosity – and cash – in 2010’.
“With more than 200 million daily live listings and a community of more than 93 million active users, eBay is uniquely positioned to take the pop culture pulse based on the millions of Marketplace purchases made each day,” said Karen Bard Sayah, eBay’s Trend Expert. “Year after year, we see the hot trends, topics and pop culture obsessions translate into online sales.”
So it seems one of this year’s dominant trends is selling the latest Apple iOS devices, and accessories related to them – as the iPad finished at number 5 on the list as well. I’m surprised the iPhone 3GS and at least one iPod Touch model didn’t make the list.
