Jailbreak Rumors – Will We See a New Rubyra1n Jailbreak from Geohot?

As the jailbreak scene for iOS 4.2 and the latest iDevices heats up, it’s no surprise that we start seeing some rumors about Geohot and possible new jailbreak apps. This week a number of sites are reporting on the fact that there is a domain called rubyra1n.com that appears to be registered with the same set of credentials as blackra1n.com – which was home to one of Geohot’s popular jailbreak app last year.

There’s really nothing else to this rumor that I’ve seen so far – but I hope Geohot does have something up his sleeve for this latest round of iOS jailbreaks. I have always had good experiences with his jailbreaks (as well as those from the Dev Team). Here’s hoping we’ll see a few good untethered jailbreak options over the next few weeks.
