We asked for it and we got it. Dialvetica ($1.99 – review here), the super speedy and handsome little quick contacts app, can now (almost) completely replace the Phone app on your iPhone thanks to its new dialpad. I say almost because Dialvetica doesn’t access voicemail — but that’s fine by me, since that isn’t part of the app’s focus.
As for the new feature: you can activate the  dialpad by tapping on the phone icon on the bottom-left corner of the keyboard. It works just as you’d expect, though it is strangely missing any kind of sound effects.
