By the way the little button in the bottom left corner under this typing window seems to be the ‘post’ button by on my screen it does not have any label to that effect.

Thanks Patrick. After posting I thought it was probably a stupid question. Given the level of computer savvyness on iPhone blogs I’d have expected a bigger reaction if the dev team site, iSource etc were being seriously compromised. But since you don’t think it’s a stupid question I’ve deleted my intense debate account just in case.

iGnome – good question. The honest answer is I don’t know. I’m talking to Intense Debate support about this – after first having to convince them that this actually occurred, and so far I haven’t learned much from them. Honestly, I don’t fancy using their comments system for anything right now.

Did the security issue affect only your website security or are there issues for people like myself leaving comments? I have other sites that use intense debate including the Dev team although I bet they got the same warning and are equally not impressed.

Yes, I sure have. Same scenario really – some very cool features, dragged down by bugs and terrible support.
