Canabalt 1.6 for iPhone: Retina graphics and optimization, Game Center support

There’s nothing better than running, jumping, and falling to your death in Canabalt, except, of course, for running, jumping, and falling in HD.

This latest update turns every bird into a BIRD, every jump into a JUMP, and … well, you get the picture. It also adds some lovely Game Center support to make boasting (or crying) about your scores with your friends much easier, since you no longer need to remember your login.

Unfortunately, this integration of the scoreboards makes it all the more clear that I’ll never beat the high score left by “Molotov-ak47” (125,545m)…not with my pathetic score of 2224m, anyway.
