No Vacations for Apple Employees From End of January to First Half of February?

AppleInsider is reporting that Apple retail employees with little seniority are being prohibited from taking vacations from the end of January until after the first half of February.

Of course, frozen periods on the calendar usually point to a product launch. Couple this information, with the fact that many Apple retail stores are maintaining their “over-staffed” personnel from the holiday shopping season, and it looks like Apple is planning to ship something big in this timeframe.

Now, the employees themselves have no idea what this launch might be. There may be more than one product launch, there may only be one, but you can be sure it’s going to be big. If I had to guess it would be, of course, a CDMA capable iPhone. We’ll see when we get there I guess.
