I’m back on TeuxDeux (iPhone app review here), a cloud-based tasks app with a great calendar-style layout, and I’m glad to report that the iPhone version of the app is syncing faster than ever before.
At some point in the last two months the wizards (a.k.a. developers) behind the TeuxDeux curtain have improved the syncing speed and brought it down from about 5-10 seconds on 3G/Wi-Fi to an average of about three seconds. It sounds like a pretty small thing, but it makes a world of difference when you’re tapping your finger on the desk just waiting to enter a task or simply typing the task in immediately.
I’m still waiting on Fast App Switching support for the app, though. It’s a little bit of a pain having to reload the whole interface every time I tap on TeuxDeux. So if you left TeuxDeux in a mini huff because of long-ish load times in months past, now might be the time to give it another shot.
