MacRumors is reporting that they have found another clue in iOS 4.3 beta 2, that strongly suggests that the next iPad will have a front-facing camera. Specifically, this image is used to overlay icons over your wallpaper selection in the settings menu, shows three new icons- one for FaceTime, one for Camera (similar to iPhone), and Photo Booth.

So, the next iPad will have at least one camera (likely a front-facing one), possibly two, and three apps that go with it. Camera for taking pictures, FaceTime for video calling with Macs, iPod touch, and iPhones, and then Photo Booth for horsing around.

Was there ever really any doubt. After Apple introduced the iPhone 4 with a front-facing camera, it was apparent that at least some of their iOS devices would get a front-facing camera in future iterations. The iPad seemed like the most likely candidate, as it’s form factor seems most accommodative to video calling.
