Most iOS users won’t understand the importance of being able to apply effects with a mask. But for digital artists, prosumer & pro photographers this is a feature you can not live without.

For the inclusion of masks (which no other app includes afaik), Filterstorm deserves the best photography app award over all others.

The instructional video does an excellent job at showing how powerful an image editor this is compared to the rest:
