Splice offers free video editing on your iPhone

If you don’t have iMovie on your iOS device (or can’t run it — it only runs on current-gen devices), you may want to check out Splice. It’s an iAd-supported movie editing app with some very straightforward controls, allowing you to add and edit pictures, text, custom audio, and, of course, video. You can even add transitions between clips if you want to make things look extra professional.

Splice doesn’t seem quite as polished as iMovie, but for $0.00, I’m really not going to start complaining. If you do like the Splice style but aren’t a fan of the ads, you can also opt to get rid of them for a quick $1.99 payment (which is still less than paying for iMovie).
