Good tip on Video Edit. I reviewed that app a little while ago here on iSource and remember it being quite speedy.

But I started watching how I was editing most of my short movie clips and realized that all I really needed was a way to mashup some vids quickly and send to a client to proof before getting them home to edit on my computer.

The problem with Splice is it’s SLOW. When you go to render clips make sure you have some extra juice on your iPhone because it’s going to take awhile.

Favorite video editing app for now is the $2.99 aptly named “Video Edit” over at http://videoeditapp.com. It doesn’t do what Splice can do but it’s super fast and way better User Interface. The developers must subscribe to the K.I.S.S. principle and that’s why I like it!

That said, why do dev’s do this? Is iOS 4.2 really critical to running this app? Considering finding the *.ipa on Installous and seeing if it’ll run.
