Alright, I’m not going to write much so that you can get to clicking, purchasing, and downloading Todolicious for free. Here’s the link to the Mac App Store so that you can check if the sale is still on. It was supposed to end yesterday, but I still got the app for free today (the 29th).
Now as to what you (hopefully) downloaded just now: just as the title would suggest, Todolicious is a very, very simple little task manager for your Mac. You type tasks into a little window, they stay there, and then you tick them off when you’re done. You do not sync with an iPhone or web app, you do not assign due dates or categories, and you do not Pass Go (or collect $200).
