Apple Pushes iOS 4.3 Beta 3 to Developers

Just like the previous builds, this build (Build 8F5166b) has variants available for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad, 3rd and 4th- generation iPod touch, and Apple TV.

App Advice has noted that this build as well as several previous builds, includes a new feature that will allow users to stop, and delete an app when it’s mid download, which is something you can’t do currently. No, right now you have to wait for the app to finish downloading before you can delete it, which to me, has never made sense.

Another feature which is speculated to be included in the final release of iOS 4.3 is the support for recurring subscription billing for App Store content, specifically, publications like “The Daily” which is set to be introduced tomorrow. I also believe that whatever subscription billing scheme Apple introduces alongside The Daily tomorrow, will shed more light on their decision to reject Sony’s ebook reader app.
