New universal iOS game from Mika Mobile: Battleheart

If you’re a fan of Zombieville USA ($1.99 – review) or OMG Pirates ($1.99), you might well be interested in the latest title from Mika Mobile, entitled Battleheart ($2.99).

Things are a little different this time, though. Instead of controlling a single character, you’ll be controlling a party of four adventurers, whose inventories and skills you’re totally free to customize. You’ll then drag, tap, and and swipe your party through levels and dungeons filled with monsters on a quest for epic loot and level-ups.

This all sounds like pretty standard fare on paper, but it’s an entirely different thing to see the game in motion. The animations are positively delightful, and the characters are hilariously cute (especially the priest, who looks like a Battle Pope).

The game also features one of the best App Store reviews I’ve ever seen:
