Next-Generation iPad Seen At ‘The Daily’ Press Event

Reuters is reporting that a prototype model of the next-generation iPad was seen at “The Daily” media event.
Here’s an excerpt:

A Reuters eyewitness saw what appeared to be a working model of the next iPad with a front-facing camera at the top edge of the glass screen at a press conference to mark the debut of News Corp’s Daily online paper in New York on Wednesday.

The identifying factor was the device’s front-facing camera, which is widely expected to be included in the next-generation iPad. They did caveat the report by saying other features could be added before the the device ships later this year.

I have to break objectivity here, and say that this is one of the most insubstantial reports I’ve read in a long time. What did they tell us? It exists? Well, color me shocked, a second-generation iPad exists.
