Articles (normally $2.99), a great Wikipedia app I reviewed a while back, has just been updated to version 2.0. The extensive changelog above should be pretty self-explanatory, but I did want to give a textual high-five to the new “read this article later” and functionality, which goes above and beyond: not only does this feature provide you a link to another article, but it takes the entire sentence that the link was in, so that you preserve some of the original context for your saving the link in the first place. I know that’s a pretty long description, but the feature will make sense once you use it, and I appreciate the thoughtful implementation.
The app is also, as the post title says, on sale for $0.99. Sophie (the developer) herself hasn’t acknowledged how long this deal will last, so it’s best to assume it will only run for a few days.
