unDock is a simple $0.99 utility on the Mac App Store that specializes in helping you intelligently eject all of your external drives in one go.
This probably isn’t all that useful to you if you only ever attach the occasional USB drive, but if you’re used to attaching multiple hard and flash drives, then unDock could really simplify things for you. This is because the default Apple method for ejecting a drive can get stalled if the drive is in use (e.g. a Time Machine backup), but unDock will automatically stop all processes related to your drives and eject them — all in one click or keyboard shortcut. Handy.
