Next-Generation iPad to Be Announced Later This Month, Released in March?

Macotakara is reporting that Apple will hold a media event toward the end of this month to launch the next-generation iPad, with the device’s release slated for March.

Although the timing seems reasonable, I doubt Apple will hold a media event for a slight product refresh. Apple only holds events unless there is something big. Perhaps they will though, this is after all the iPad’s first refresh, and we don’t know how this is going to play out. We’ll keep you posted if we hear more.
