Continue to hold down the Command key and just keep pressing tab and it will sequence through them. As Jay noted the “`” sends you the other direction, and so does holding own command/shift and then tab. Stop at any app while holding the command and hit the Q to quit.

– one is to scroll in the opposite direction than the Command+Tab;
– it also similarly scrolls through windows of the SAME app (say 3 Keynote presentations)

I find it to be especially useful for quitting multiple apps in a row.
