Did TeuxDeux syncing get even faster?

TeuxDeux ($2.99), my favourite minimal task manager, hasn’t openly added any new features in a while, but I do believe it has received another syncing speed upgrade (the second one in the last few months). I think this is really one of the best things that the developers of TeuxDeux could focus on, and it’s working splendidly for me.

The last speed upgrade took syncing down from about 5-10 seconds over 3G down to about 3-4 seconds, but this latest behind-the-scenes update lets me sync with the web app in about 2-3 seconds over 3G, and within a second over wi-fi. Those are some of the fastest two-way sync speeds I’ve seen in any app, so I’m quite happy about this.

What all of this means is that TeuxDeux is becoming closer and closer to feeling just like paper — paper that syncs over the internet — and that tends to significantly reduce the barrier for task management entry for me. I feel confident loading up TeuxDeux and knowing that I’ll be able to write down what I need to without having to wait eons for the app to load up properly.
