Over the weekend there has been a flurry of reports claiming that the new MacBook Pros will be rolling in on February 24th. The report that seemingly confirms this is from Engadget however. They note that BestBuy.com prematurely let slip the model numbers of the new machines on their site.
BestBuy.com has a series of prices listed next to each entry, which are the same as the current MacBook Pro models, and if I had to guess, that’s the way it will stay. However, Apple doesn’t tell resellers in advance what the prices of the machines will be, so this has to be a guess on Best Buy’s part.
So, wager heavily on a February 24th release date for the new MacBook Pros.
