Patents also cover the way a particular company is implementing an idea. In this case Apple is implementing a drop box app for their platform which will execute according to OS X etc. Those who complain about patents, generally don’t have a clue about the role patents play in our system.

I may very use it when it comes out, but I’d have to see how they implement it on Lion.
