Engadget readers love them some Apple devices, of all shapes and sizes. Today the site announced the winners of its 2010 Engadget Awards, voted on by more than 100,000 readers, and Apple grabbed no less than eight of the top awards. Here are those winners:
Gadget of the Year – iPad
Smartphone of the Year – iPhone 4
Desktop of the Year – Apple iMac
Laptop of the Year – MacBook Air
Display of the Year – Apple Retina Display
Home Entertainment Device – Apple TV 2G
Portable Media Device – iPad
Tablet PC of the Year – iPad
I know some folks will write off both Engadget and its readership as Apple fanboys/girls, but I’d say it’s one of the very best broad-coverage tech sites around, with quite a savvy audience. And these are some great categories for Apple to be leading in, as they all have great momentum in the marketplace.
