TechCrunch is reporting that Apple is prepping to begin seeding Mac OS X 10.7 Lion to developers in the near future, and claim that a user interface redesign will be amongst the new features coming with the release.
And while we already know some of the new features thanks to Apples preview, there are still a few surprises, apparently. One of these is a much-anticipated UI overhaul. But that means that developers are going to need to be ready when it rolls out. And along those lines, were hearing that a developer beta should begin soon.
Yeah, a lot of detail is packed into that paragraph. So much so, that we don’t know any more than we did already. Mac OS X 10.7 Lion is slated for a summer 2011 release. That said, little is known if the release is on schedule.
