As to developers, they have been encouraged to work on resolution independent software for some time now…and besides, it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that larger screens are the future and to prepare for it. Everything has been moving toward larger screens. My GPS has a much larger, and, I might add, easier to use, screen than earlier models.
