
AllThingsD has done yeoman’s work and has compiled a bunch of little details surround thing imminent iPad 2 launch.
First up, data plans. Just as before, AT&T is offering pre-paid monthly plans at 250MB for $14.99, and 2GB for $25. If you go over your data allotment, just pay again and you data allotment starts over. AT&T is also offering a postpaid plan that charges either $14.99 for an additional 250MB or $10 per each extra 1GB.
Verizon on the other hand is offering 1GB per month for $20 and an additional $20 for a 1GB overage. They also offer 3,5, and 10GB plans for $35,$50,and $80 respectively. Each of these plans has a $10/1GB overage charge.
Now, as for availability of the iPad 2 itself, Apple will be selling the device at 12:01AM Pacific Time for online customers, and 5PM local time for customers wondering into an Apple retail store looking to buy one.
