This is just a heads-up to notify any eager fellow jailbreakers about the newly released Notified 2 beta available (Cydia source: http://beta.notifiedapp.com/).
I’ve written a number of posts on iSource about Notified Pro if you’re curious about what it does, but the most useful one for people might be this one (about using Notified Pro and LockInfo together for kickass notifications).
As for the Notified 2 beta, here’s the changelog as copied from the MacThemes thread (which is where you should report bugs, should you find any):
Changelog from Notified Pro 1.5.3:
– Notifications sent to plugins now keep their information to improve app launching via plugins (requires update from plugins, install Notification Bar from the beta repo to take advantage of it).
– The way the window works was changed, mostly to allow an implementation of a live pull-down, after I work on the Activator gesture with Ryan Petrich.
– The Notified API for Plugins has been improved and expanded.
– Moved settings to Settings.app
– Default Alerts blocker made simpler.
– Added option to hide read notifications when first opening the list.
– Added setting to group notifications by either date (default) or Application.
– Added option to ignore applications.
– Added option to use the application’s icon instead of custom icons.
– Added option to delete notifications after they are tapped on the list.March 7
Fixed crash when clicking on Settings icon.
Deleting applications from the Ignored list now works
Just keep in mind that the “live pull-down” feature — which sounds a bit like the notification tray that Android has — isn’t working just yet.
