Update: Algebra Touch for iOS to add important new feature

In the world of teaching and learning algebraic operations, one of the most fundamental lessons is that of applying the distribution property. Algebra Touch (universal app; reviewed here) is an app of beauty when it comes to demonstrating and supporting the learning of algebraic operations and techniques: it puts to action what most algebra teachers expect students to be able to envision when performing operations in seeking a solution to an equation.

A few days ago the developer, Sean, contacted me to let me know an update was headed to the app store, and by the demonstration below, it’s going to be a key improvement to this already outstanding educational app.
