Google Improves Google Mobile App for iPhone/iPod, Changes Name

Google has overhauled the Google Mobile App (now called the Google Search App) with some new features:

When browsing through search results or looking at a webpage, a down swipe brings up the search bar.

There is also a new toolbar for filtering search results, which is opened by swiping to the right.   You can choose to filter on Places, Images, News, Shopping, Videos, and more.  

There are also improvements to Google Goggles, Voice Search, Search with My Location, and Gmail unread counts.
