If you’ve been having fun editing pictures with apps like Hipstamatic ($1.99) and Instagram (Free) on your iPhone, then you might really using Flare for Mac from the Iconfactory (the folks who brought us Twitterrific).
This super-easy, filter-based image editor comes with a variety of colour, lens, and “creative” effects (probably textures) for quickly tweaking photos you’d like to post or print. The cool part, however, is the mini social aspect of creating and sharing your own custom presets and checking out the ones that others have made.
Once you’re done, you can post your pictures to Flickr or e-mail them as JPEG, PNG or TIFF files. Flare is currently $9.99 (50% off) on the Mac App Store, but you can pick up a demo over at the FlareApp website if you’re simply curious.
