Notesy. That’s the awesome Dropbox-based note app that only handles plain text, right?

The change to support the viewing of non-text files actually stems from developer David Findlay’s desire to make the app less intrusive (previous versions would force non-text files into a special quarantine folder labelled problem-files), but I think it could be an interesting new avenue of possibilities fore this note app.
More dynamic note support could move Notesy a little more in the direction of Evernote and Awesome Note in terms of the breadth of information users can manage, but I’ll have to wait until sub-folder support (coming soon) until I can play with a few alternative uses for this new Quick Look feature. For now, however, it’s cool enough to be able to view receipts in the same folder as all my main notes.
