The 2TB has an issue with wake from sleep while on firewire on my iMac. Amazon.com user reviews report many people having this issue. My work around it to have the WD daisy chained of a Lacie HD drive that I have connected to my iMac.

Both WD and Apple just point fingers at each other over this issue.

That said the WD is very quiet, runs cool and I use it in a RAID1 for media backup.
