This is something I have been needing since the iPhone was released and I moved over from my previous phone.

I can’t even find a tweak within the jailbroken community to allows an option to “Flag/Star” an mail item.

Agreed that the “Flag” image is already available and works for currently “Flagged” items so why not enable the use.

Come on Apple it can’t be that hard can it?

In reply to Kjell Roll Elgsaas. we work around the e-mailing to groups limitation by using a Google Group for iSource e-mails. We send to one e-mail address and everyone gets the message, and Gmail is somehow smart enough not to send my own messages back to me.

Agreed! This is the “ONLY” thing I miss from my old HTC Touch/WinMobile.

Flagging has been on my wish list too. Emailing to groups created in Address Book would also be great.

Agreed! Synced Notes, Sent Items, Unread Mail, Contacts, Calendars… all works! Why not Flagged/Starred??? I’ve been searching the web trying to find a third party app that will allow me to flag on my iPad/iPhone, but to no avail! It’s the only missing feature for me!
