Apple Releases Apple TV Update 4.2.1

Apple has released iOS 4.2.1 for the Apple TV not even two weeks after the last update. This update however, addresses recent flickering caused by some television sets trying to convert the device’s 720p output to a 1080i output experienced by some Apple TV customers.

Of course, the iOS 4.2 (know to the rest of us iOS 4.3, but Apple TV is a point behind) brought increased functionality, such as integrated MLB.tv and NBA League Pass Video to the device.

You can get this update through the Setting> General menu by clicking on “Update Software”.
