Intel has a long history of bribing and coercing OEMs to exclude AMD products. Basically, it has been shown, through subpoenaed court documents, that Intel has been breaking antitrust laws for 10-years.

For example:

1. Secretly bribing Dell 6-billion dollars to illegally block out competition from AMD. Otellini even proclaimed Michael Dell (from subpoenaed documents in the NY AG Complaint) as “the best friend money can buy”.

2. HP Executives were afraid to even accept 1-million dollars in free processors from AMD, because Intel covertly told HP Execs that Intel would financially damage HP if AMD’s market share was allowed to exceed 5%

3. Intel also bribed/threatened Acer, Toshiba, Gateway, Sony, IBM and others.

Nope. AMD is Intel’s B itch. And the FTC is Intel’s doormat. Lobbying millions of dollars pays off, I suppose.
