Old News: Apple Released iOS 4.3.1 Update

Screen shot 2010-12-13 at 9.35.54 PM.pngLittle late on reporting this one. Apple late last week released iOS 4.3.1 to the public for all the same iOS devices that run iOS 4: iPad, iPad 2, iPod touch (3rd-4th gen), iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 4 (GSM/AT&T model only).

The update itself is what you would expect. It fixes minor graphics glitches, some activation and connection issues with cellular networks, a flickering issues when connected to certain TVs with a Digital AV Adapter, and so on.

To get the update plug in your iOS device, fire up iTunes, select the device, and click the “Check for Update” button. You should be able to find your way from there.

What get’s me with these minor updates, is their size. The downloads for both my iPod touch and my iPad weighed in at around 450MB each. It is what it is.
