As Electronista points out, the remaining stock of the original iPad being offered through Apple’s clearance section of their online store, is beginning to run low. In fact, the 16GB WiFi-only model is completely sold out in the refurbished section, with all WiFi-only models being sold out in the clearance section.
As for the rest of the stock, in the clearance section the original 3G iPad is still available at $529 for the 16GB model, $629 for the 32GB model, and $729 for the 64GB model. The refurbished 3G iPad models sell for $479 for 16GB, $559 for 32GB and $659 for 64GB. Lastly, the refurbished WiFi-only models sell for $429 for 32GB and $529 for 64GB.
So, if you’re still looking for a good deal on an original iPad, even after AT&T and Verizon have both offered the device at fire sale prices, check out Apple’s clearance and refurbished sections on their online store.
