To Autofill or Not To Autofill: That is the question

If you’re like me, until as of recent, I never had any qualms with using (and recommending) autofill features built into Safari or Firefox. That is until this tip came across my RSS feeds a few days ago from our friends at Mac OSX Hints:

The just is this. If you have autofill turned on, and someone can gain access to your machine, your autofilled passwords are at risk. Keep in mind if you try the above hint in Safari, you will first need to turn on the option to “Show Develop menu in the menu bar” from Safari’s advanced preference tab. Here is an example of the trick in action:
