SlashGear is reporting that an ad, featuring what appeared to be, but not explicitly stated, an iPad, duct tapped to a keyboard, alongside the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer tablet sitting alongside it’s optional keyboard. The reason this is funny, or even newsworthy, is the fact that Best Buy sells the iPad, and presumably a lot of them at that.
Not the brightest move on Best Buy’s part- don’t bite the hand that feeds you. That brings me to my next thought. Did Apple ask for this ad to be pulled, or did Best Buy realize it was spitting in the face of one of their biggest partners? Who knows.
